MiMedia, LLC (www.mimediallc.com), a venture-backed, rapidly growing tech startup

is seeking a highly experienced full time Vice President of Development who is interested in building the first personal cloud storage platform.

This position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for designing, development, and testing of our proprietary software as well as the integration of various third party components and systems. This will include the management of a multi-platform development team and will also involve recruiting and managing a team of developers and quality assurance personnel.

Responsibilities

- Design and Development of both Web-Based and Native Applications

- Integration with Third Party Systems and Components (e.g. Billing Systems)

- Management of the Development Team and Release Lifecycle

- Management of Source Control, Bug Tracking and Project Management Systems

- Design and Setup of a Full Test Environment and QA Lab

- Recruit and Build a Development and QA Team

- Evaluate Build vs. Buy Scenarios for Non-Core Components

- Scalability and Performance Testing

Qualifications and Experience

- 7-10 Years of Software Development Experience

- Recruiting and Team Building

- Working in a Startup or Rapid-Growth Environment

- Experience with Linux, Windows, Macintosh and Mobile Platforms

- Experience with High-Performance, Scalable Systems

- Experience with Large, Distributed, Data Environments

- Geographic Redundancy and Fault Tolerance Configurations

- Knowledge of C/C++, Visual Basic, Java and PHP

Compensation:

- $120k or Higher Based on Experience
